Radek is a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). He graduated with a BSc. in Biology and BSc. in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in 2016. Through his schooling at the University of Victoria and his long history of competitive sports he gained a respect and appreciation for human performance and rehabilitation both through the micro and macro perspective.
His rehabilitation philosophy follows and incorporates a variety of world-renowned industry leaders and their ideologies including Gray Cook’s Functional Movement System, Thomas Myers’s Anatomy Trains, and David Weinstock’s NeuroKinetic Therapy. Together with philosophies from the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists (CSEP) and the British Columbia’s Women’s Health Osteofit, he views the body and its processes in a dynamic, adaptive, and holistic way. Radek is experienced in soft tissue motor vehicle accident injuries, shoulder and hip dysfunction, pre and post orthopedic surgery strengthening and conditioning, and active rehabilitation of various neurological movement disorders.
Radek is a certified Osteofit instructor, and is the lead Kinesiologist for our Clinical Osteofit program. Clinical Osteofit is a program that has its roots in the provincially recognized Osteofit that is endorsed and created by the BC Women’s Hospital. This program is designed for those with osteoporosis, low bone density, or at increased risk for fractures and falls.

Shelbourne Physiotherapy staff provide clinical instruction at our Victoria Clinic for students in the UBC Faculty of Medicine. We are an accredited facility for UBC Dept. of Physical Therapy Student Practicums.
