Madeline Juba-Kinesiologist & Rehab Coordinator

Rehabilitation Coordinator

BSc: Kinesiology at UVic

CSEP Certified Personal Training

Madeline holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Co-Operative Education and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Victoria. Growing up, Madeline was a committed athlete, playing both field hockey and soccer. She currently plays on a women’s field hockey team in the community. As such, she has gained first-hand experience with injury rehabilitation. This drew Madeline to the field of Kinesiology, and her curiosity continued to grow through her degree and career. Madeline’s eclectic background allows her to approach rehabilitation in a unique way, linking her psychology and anatomy knowledge toward healing and strengthening.

Madeline has been volunteering with Shelbourne Physical Therapy at their Gordon Head Recreation Centre location since June 2016 and she recently transitioned into the role of Rehabilitation Coordinator as of July 2018. Her involvement as a volunteer with the Clinical Osteofit program at the Gordon Head Rec Centre has inspired her to further her knowledge in Women’s Health, and she will be continuing her education with a Masters in Kinesiology beginning in January 2019 at the University of Victoria. There she will explore the effectiveness of the addition of an online component to the existing Osteofit program.
